Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 10 am - 4 pm

Entry form and entry fee due. After filling out and submitting the entry form below, return and pay entry fee to be eligible to participate in the exhibition. No changes in art/titles/mediums/prices after entering.

Members Only: $20 for one piece.

If you do not want to use PayPal, please bring a check of cash.

Deliver your art piece to Downing Museum 1-3 p.m.  Early or late deliveries will not be accepted.  

Awards announced at 6 pm. 

April 11 pick up art 2:00-4:00 p.m.  ALL ART MUST BE REMOVED AT THIS TIME. NO EXCEPTIONS.  

All works of art must be presented in a professional manner. Works intended for hanging must be properly prepared. WIRED BACKS ONLY FOR 2D - NO EXCEPTIONS. Please pull your wires tight, not loopy. 

Maximum size for 2D work is 6” horizontal and 6” vertical (including frame). 

All 3D work must be stable and not weigh more than 50 pounds and not wider than 6” in any direction. If your 3D art hangs, please make sure you have a tight wire attached to the back. Artists submitting works weighing more than 50 pounds must be on call to help with placements. 

No video art accepted.

Late entries are not allowed. If you did not sign up online/pay by February 20th your entry will not be accepted. All entries must be original and created within the last five years. It is okay if you’ve entered your art piece in past exhibitions, HOWEVER, if your art piece has won an award in any local exhibition, do not enter it. Greenware, utilitarian kits and over the counter craft items are not eligible. No “Sip and Paint” themed art accepted. All works created from natural materials must be stable, well seasoned, and reptile/insect free. The ArtWorks’ exhibition committee along with the Downing Museum reserve the right to decline any work that does not fit the space. 

Participating artists agree to hold harmless ArtWorks, Inc., the Exhibition Committee, the Downing Museum and its volunteers/employees/owners for any loss, theft, or damage that may occur while artwork is on display. Participating artists agree to grant permission to ArtWorks, Inc. and Downing Museum to photograph or video installed artwork for advertising or social media purposes.
