Artworks, Inc is committed to empowering visual artists through exhibition, educational, and professional opportunities. A portion of Artworks, Inc's membership dues is set aside to provide a yearly grant to a middle school, high school or recognized community non-profit art organization to fulfill this mission. Additional contributions come from local individuals committed to the visual arts including donations in honor of Myra Dwyer.
All middle schools, high schools and recognized community non-profit art organizations in the city and county districts in Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson and Warren are eligible to apply for up to $1000 in grant monies.
