For the second time, ArtWorks, Inc. has teamed up with The World's Greatest Studio Tour (WGST). During the first weekend of November participating artists who are members of ArtWorks and WGST will be able to show and sell their art in the Kentucky Museum. This will bring more than 300 people to see the Fall Exhibition along side the booths of the AW/WGST artists.
Hours: Wednesday-Saturday 9 am - 4 pm
Entry form and entry fee due. After filling out and submitting the entry form below, return and pay entry fee to be eligible to participate in the exhibition. No changes in art/titles/mediums/prices after entering.
Members: $15 for one piece, $20 for two pieces
Non-Members: $25 for one piece, $30 for two pieces
Deliver your art piece Wednesday, October 16 to the Kentucky Museum 1-4 p.m. Early or late deliveries will not be accepted.
Saturday, October 19 - Afternoon reception 1:30-3:30 - Awards at 2 pm.
Friday, November 15 1:00-4:00 p.m. ALL ART MUST BE REMOVED AT THIS TIME. NO EXCEPTIONS. There will be a presentation about creating Murals by Nellie Lutzwolf. Please email artworksbgky@gmail.com to sign up for FREE.
All works of art must be presented in a professional manner. Works intended for hanging must be properly prepared to hang professionally from a traditional wall hook. WIRED BACKS ONLY FOR 2D - NO EXCEPTIONS. Art with sawtooth hangers will not be accepted. Plexiglas is strongly recommended for works larger than 24 inches. If your 3D art needs a special hanging device, please bring it with you when you deliver your art.
Maximum size for 2D work is 65" horizontal/vertical. All 3D work must be stable and not weigh more than 100 pounds. Artists submitting works weighing more than 50 pounds must be on call to help with placement. All 2D and 3D works of art must be solid and stable. No video art accepted.

Late or early entries are not allowed. Must be 18+ years old. If you did not sign up/pay online by October 9 your entry will not be accepted. All entries must be original and completed within the last five years (2019-2024). Greenware, utilitarian kits and over the counter craft items are not eligible. No “Sip and Paint” themed art accepted. All works created from natural materials must be stable, well seasoned and reptile/insect free.
Exhibit organizers reserve the right to disqualify work from consideration that does not meet acceptable museum standards, poses installation issues, or is deemed unsafe for the museum environment.
Installation art, art requiring electricity, or art that has won an award in a previous ArtWorks, Inc. or Celebration of the Arts exhibition will not be permitted. Diptych and Triptych art must be cohesive and physically or visually connected to each other. Collaborative art not allowed.
