Wednesday, March 4 - Friday, April 5, 2025
Entry Deadline:
On or before Wednesday, February 26, 2025 pay and fill out entry form below. DON'T FORGET TO HIT SUBMIT. No changes allowed in art/titles/prices after entry is made.
Entry Fee:
Members Only: $20.00 for one art piece or $30 for two art pieces. After you SUBMIT your entry, return and pay below using credit, debit or PayPal. If you're not a member, or need to renew your membership, go to the membership page and join up before the entry deadline.
Entry Drop Off:
Saturday, March 1 - 10:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Late entries will not be accepted.
Opening Awards Reception:
Saturday, March 15th: 2:30 p.m. Awards announced at 3:00 p.m.
Judge: Carlyle D. Johnson
Carlyle D. Johnson received his degrees from The Ohio State University in Studio Art and African- African American Art history. Mr. Johnson served as Coordinator of the printmaking department at Ohio State for 5 years and Chair of the Department of Art at Middle Tennessee State University for 13 years. In addition, he has participated in more than 60 art exhibitions, coordinated numerous grants concerning African-American issues, and served on a number of commissioned committees in Ohio, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

Awards:
Over $1000 awards given to BOS, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Merits, the Myra Dwyer Award and Best Amateur.
Pick Up Date:
Saturday, April 5 between 10:00 - 2:00 p.m. PLEASE, make arrangements for your art to be picked up, if you cannot make it.
Requirements:
Exhibitor must be a member of ArtWorks, Inc. All current members are listed in bold print on the ARTIST page.
Presentation Guidelines:
All works of art must be presented in a professional manner. Works intended for hanging must be properly prepared to hang professionally from a traditional wall. hook. Please wire the backs of all 2d art. Plexiglass is strongly recommended for art larger than 24 inches. If your 3D art needs a special hanging device, please bring it with you when you deliver your art.
Maximum size for 2D work is 50" horizontal/vertical. All 3D work must be stable and not weigh more than 100 pounds. Artists submitting works weighing more than 50 pounds must be on call to help with placement. All 2D and 3D works of art must be solid and stable. No video art accepted.
